Carry Me Camper Corroboree 2005
'Sheepyard Pub'
In September 60 Carry Me Campers and their occupants descended on Sheepyard Pub on the Grawin Opal fields near Lightning Ridge. Most stayed two and some three nights swapping ideas and yarns about their campers and their trips. During the weekend tours were conducted of the fields and also a mine. With the hospitality of the locals being exeptional. (A visit to the area is a must)

120 sat down for tea on the saturday night ably catered for by Macca and Karen from Red Desert Tours whilst the overall hosting was ably handled by Ted and Sue the liscencees of The Sheepyard Pub. (Congratulations and thank you.)

On the Monday 10 vehicles departed on a tour following the Durack's epic journey from SW Qld to Kunnunurra in WA. the trip took 14 days following as close as possible the cattle route taken by the Duracks. In all the Corroboree was a huge success with many wanting details of the next venue, which will be in the first weekend after Easter in the High Country on the NSW Vic border. Customers will be contacted by early Feb so please Contact Us if you don't get a letter and already have a Carry me Camper.
